Transforming vehicles into moving canvasses of art

 

Art on the Move is a 3-year community arts initiative developed by Arts Etobicoke and Lakeshore Arts.

 

Crossing streets, boundaries, neighbourhoods, cultures and languages, Art on the Move integrates public art and urban design by engaging professional artists and community members - kids, adults and seniors – who collaborate to adorn vehicles with original artwork. Intergenerational and interconnected.

 

Wrapped in art instead of advertising, the Art on the Move fleet will captivate and enliven city dwellers throughout Toronto.  Over the three-year period, unique and inspirational works of art will be unveiled on a variety of vehicles. Exciting, surprising, ever changing.
